launchreel turns what you tell it about your product into a launch video. We built it to need as little of your data as possible: there are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics or ad trackers, and your finished video is made in your own browser and never uploaded to us.
What stays in your browser
- Your answers (product name, website, audience, what it does, numbers, your script) are saved in your browser's local storage so you can come back to them.
- Your invite code and, if you add one, your own Gemini API key are stored there too. We never save your key on our servers.
- The video itself is rendered on your device and downloaded straight to it.
Clearing your browser's site data removes all of it.
What we send to make your video, and to whom

We don't store any of this on our side: each request is processed and the result is sent back to your browser. Our server runs on Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived operational logs (such as request times, status codes and IP addresses) to run and protect the service.
Gemini's free tier: when a video is made on Google's free Gemini API tier (ours, or yours through your own key), Google says it may use that content to improve its products. Don't put anything confidential into launchreel. Paid API keys follow Google's paid-tier terms instead.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information.
- We don't use your content to train models of our own.
- We don't build profiles of you or track you across sites.
Music, sounds and uploads
Music and sound effects you pick are served from our site. Music or voiceovers you upload stay in your browser; an uploaded voiceover is only sent for timing as described above.
Children
launchreel is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly process their information.
Your choices
You can use launchreel without narration, write your own script, and clear everything we keep in your browser at any time. Because we don't keep your content on our servers, there is nothing of yours for us to export or delete there.
